For the survivors, life goes on after the war is over. My future was filled with exciting adventures. Continuing in the US Army as the first amputee on active duty came with experiences unavailable to others. Our family grew. Corporate jobs provided opportunities in the years to come, and the challenges of leading a domestic and international ministry led to responsibilities beyond all expectations. The years ahead were filled with surprises, both happy and sad.
